Jessica Nhial ~ Founder, President & CEO

Jessica assists incarcerated individuals, many of whom are seriously mentally ill and/or in recovery, to establish achievable goals, and to build familial and community support. Born and raised in the crest of Rochester, NY, Jessica graduated from East High School of the Rochester City School District and went on to earn a BA in Psychology and a MS in Criminal Justice from SUNY Buffalo State. In a professional capacity, Jessica has worked closely with persons under parole and probation supervision, families involved with PINS, including that of diversion programs, gun offenders, and those who were identified as gang-affiliated.

Through her work, Jessica saw a desperate need to improve relations between representatives of the Justice System, individuals and families engaged with the System, and those who reside in the home community. This led to the birth of Linda’s Love Society in an effort to assist with navigation of resources, to mitigate programmatic barriers, and to fully serve our participants, families, and partners.

Through Linda’s Love Society, Jessica’s commitment extends beyond the walls and wire of prison, and into the very communities from which incarcerated individuals derive and will eventually return.

Jessica is also a NRA Certified Pistol Instructor
